The Pearl Day Spa — Team Bio Guide
We want clients to feel more connected to our team before they walk in the door and feel as if they can make better decisions about practitioners that may be the best match for them. A great bio helps the right client find the right person.
Honesty is important here. If you like to chat it up, work that in. If you’re more serious, show that as well. Being honest about who you know yourself to be will be a lot more helpful in getting you matched with the right folks.
A Few Tips
Write like you talk — not like a résumé
If you're stuck, answer the prompt out loud first, then write what you said
Specific is better than general ("I specialize in slow, deep tissue work for athletes and people who sit at desks all day" beats "I love helping people feel better")
Expand the appropriate section below for the prompts to write your bio. If you prefer to reference the document in another tab or print it out, you can view it here.

Length: 150–250 words
Format: Answer one prompt per section (you’ll end up with an intro plus 4 additional sections). Pick the one that feels most natural to you. If none of them sound like you, use them as a starting point and make it your own, but don’t reinvent the wheel since we want some consistency. Expand the narrative a bit in each section to answer the question. I.e., not just a single word/phrase answer.
Perspective: Write in first person (I/me) not third person.
