Sean Vierra--Owner and Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
My journey in bodywork originated from my mother's struggles with chronic pain and my goal of healing scoliosis in my own body. I believe bodywork isn't a luxury, but a necessity for the fast-paced life and demands of a modern world.
I have practiced some form of bodywork since 2005 and have studied in both Oregon & Utah, attaining the title of master bodyworker in Utah. After completing massage school, I studied with Marcia York under the supervision of Hawaiian Healing Academy to learn a traditional Hawaiian bodywork called Lomi Lomi and it continues to form the base of my practice. I specialize in injury work, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, headaches, neck pain, back pain, and traditional Hawaiian Lomi Lomi bodywork.
I have worked in many settings from resorts and spas, to clinics and private practice and aim to bring this diverse set of skills to the table for my clients every day that not not only heals the body but restores the mind.
Sande Maxwell--Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
I have been licensed since 1986. I first received my massage license in Florida then moved to Oregon and received my Oregon license in 1988. I was a certified Trager Practitioner for over 20 years, and it is still a great influence in my work.
Over the years I have been a student of The Berry Method, cranialsacral, myofascial release, and sports massage and have done massage at The Oregon Country Fair and Cycle Oregon as well as other sporting events around the state. I have practiced chair massage at the Saturday Market, the Holiday Market, and other various venues around Eugene.
I am a member of the Oregon chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association, past president of the Oregon Massage Therapy Association, and the Florida Massage Therapy Assocation.
I will work with you to achieve your goals of relaxation and pain relief using any and all modalities in my repertoire.
Gwen Buckley--Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
Hailing from my small hometown in Alaska, I came to Eugene about a year ago to follow my destiny and begin my career in an industry that I have more faith in than any other healing modality. I have always loved human contact, and now I get to harness that love towards an end that can bring relief and aid to anyone.
It is my personal goal to empower every last one of my clients with the touch, tools, and information they need to embrace the most peaceful state of living they want to achieve. I want to be a part of the force that changes the world for the better, and massage is what I have to offer people. I practice Swedish, Deep Tissue, and chair, with more to come!
Kelsey Frank--Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
As an Oregon native I decided to go to Denver School of Massage Therapy and continued my education at Utah College of Massage Therapy; gaining over a thousand hours of credit. I enjoy learning about the human body and the different ways to relieve pain.
I have been in the massage therapy profession for 6 years and truly enjoy my work. I am passionate about the positive effects of therapy on the body and mind. My specialities are deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, and integrated myofascial release. My goal is to always tailor my massage to suit the needs of my client.
Brittney Brown--Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
Initially licensed on June 23rd, 2008 I have been using therapeutic massage to help individuals make progress in their healing journeys for nearly ten years. I have a long held a passion for helping others in need and throughout my career, I have advocated for those in need.
Giving back to the community by way of donating my treatment proceeds to local fundraisers, volunteering at local wellness centers, hosting community classes, and through donation of my massage therapy treatments.
I specialize in Swedish Relaxation Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, and Injury Recovery. Much of my personal practice has involved working with clients that suffer from chronic pain or injury and those recovering from surgery.
Cezanne Bauer--Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and spent much of my time in the ocean around Key Largo. After high school, I moved to Boulder, Colorado to enjoy hiking and skiing in the mountains. I got to know the aloha spirit living in Hawaii, but ended up falling in love with Oregon, and settled down in Eugene to raise my family.
In order to work with people in a meaningful way, I decided to pursue a career in massage therapy, and completed the program at Lane Community College. I became passionate about the many ways massage can help manage pain and assist in reducing stress. My massage style combines Swedish massage with myofascial release, deep tissue techniques, and acupressure points depending on the needs of the client. I have taken additional coursework in prenatal massage, sports massage, aromatherapy, and aquatic therapy.
When I’m not practicing massage, you can find me laughing with my family, playing in the water, or surrounded by trees.
Darcie Gibson--Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
I have been a massage therapist since 2007 when I graduated from the American Academy of Massage Therapy in Manhattan, KS. My work is an intuitive combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology and Trigger Point. After spending years of listening to the needs of my own body and those of my clients, I believe that the most important thing a therapist can offer is a mindful and compassionate presence which can facilitate the innate healing ability within the recipient.
Lottie Arkham--Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
I’ve known since I was a teen that I wanted to be a massage therapist. Life happened, took a few detours mostly working as a caregiver/nursing assistant before I got my massage license in 2014.
Especially after working in the medical field, I wanted to help people to live healthier, happier, and pain free.
When I'm not working, I'm taking care of an amazing little girl and her furry, four legged siblings.
Jess Mead--Staff Licensed Massage Therapist

Pressing on with continuing education in the field of massage therapy, I am looking forward to learning the ancient modality of Thai Massage.
Prior to my life as a massage therapist, I proudly served in our Nations military from 2002 until 2013.
Gabriel Springsnow--Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
Hello and welcome!
I've been enjoying an active practice in massage therapy since 2005. My observances over the years on the mind-body connection has evolved to the point that I believe posture and physical/mental well being are linked. Obvious sounding, I know, but for example, when I hold a stretch for someone blow their clavicle and ask them to breathe in, most of the time folks are surprised that that spot is felt well into the front of their neck—even up to the jaw line. Awareness and the mind can be a funny thing in what we choose to fixate on.
I like to hold literal and figurative space for the process of reconciling, unwinding and asking verbal questions about postural patterns that are currently residing in your body. A simple "wow, that's sore" from you when I work on a seemingly fine muscle could turn into a slightly modified daily practice or posture. Doing something you do everyday a little differently with a bit more awareness can translate into a larger change many years down the road. I've gotten into a habit of trying to help the world be a better place one body at a time and hope to see you soon.
I look forward to working with you and hope to be of service for many years to come.
Kayla McCleod-Staff Licensed Massage Therapist
My work is a blend of Swedish / Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Acupressure, Structural Integration, Craniosacral Therapy and Somato-Emotional Release (a modality designed to bring awareness to emotions residing in the body and, perhaps, release them). After a session, clients have reported feeling relaxed and more deeply connected to their mind/body/spirit.
I spent most of my life in the Sonoran and Mojave deserts and am freshly acclimating to the pacific northwest. As a new resident of Eugene I am excited to connect with this community and cultivate a lifestyle that is in alignment with my core values; Health, Connection, Simplicity, and Growth.

Monica Liverett-Staff Licensed Nail Technician
I grew up and have spent my whole life in the Eugene/Springfield area. I graduate high school in 2014 and immediately went to beauty school with the dream of eventually opening up my own salon.
One thing I particularly enjoy is foot massage and pampering my clients, with the goal that while they are in my chair they forget their worries.
I have been in the industry for about two years, and love every single minute of it! I am a hard worker and love to interact with many different people.
In my free time you will find me baking and hanging out with my family as much as I can. I am always looking for new opportunities to grow and learn; I strongly believe I can always do more for people. I think that kindness outweighs the bad, and one simple smile or warm greeting may change someone’s entire day.

Born in Eugene, raised in Northern Virginia, I returned to Oregon in high school and went on to graduate from South Eugene. I studied for a few years at the University of Oregon, only to find my passion in bodywork and healing. I began the massage therapy program at Lane and started working at The Pearl in the fall of 2015 and have found a new place to call home.
I love keeping up with my fast-paced department as well as getting to know all the practitioners here, who have so much to offer. The Pearl truly feels like a family - there is so much support, encouragement, and appreciation for one another and I am so grateful for everyone who has welcomed me with open arms.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy reading, yoga, being outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends. I also have a love for travel, learning about new cultures, and trying new and exciting foods. I hope to continue enjoying the opportunities life has to offer and to one day be at The Pearl as a massage therapist.

In the chaos of modern life, we all crave escape. Whether that escape is exercise, vacation, time in the garden, or time on a massage table, I encourage people to find time for rest, repair, and healing in their life.
With many years of experience in team management, spa administration, and private practice building, I bring a diverse set of skills that equip me to serve not only clients, but also my staff and the personal life I love.
As a self-admitted weekend warrior, I strongly encourage us to find our most productive selves as evolving from a place where we take time to focus on our desires, our health, and our quietness of mind.
